Jedidiah Brewer

Jedidiah Brewer co-founded Blue Solutions to put his extensive campaign experience and fundraising network to use in helping elect Democrats.

In 2006, Jed managed a $600,000 budget for the only successful challenge race in Tennessee, beating an incumbent State Senator and electing 31-year-old Lowe Finney to the State Senate. Winning the race allowed Democrats in the State Senate to reverse a recent trend of losing seats each cycle.

Jed also served as Political Director for Harold Ford Jr.’s U.S. Senate Campaign. Jed coordinated fundraising efforts for Bredesen’s successful 2002 campaign, followed by a stint in the State Capitol, serving as Technology Advisor to Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen. Leaving the South briefly, Jed directed Mel Carnahan’s field operations during his 2000 campaign for U.S. Senate, a race in which, despite Carnahan’s death in a plane crash three weeks before the election, he defeated then-incumbent John Ashcroft.

Additionally, Jed worked in the New Hampshire Presidential Primary for Al Gore and has raised money for several other campaigns at all levels across the country. Originally from rural West Tennessee, Jedidiah studied Political Science at the University of Mississippi and currently resides in Nashville, TN.
